Dont settle for anything less
The quality of girls this app attracts is disappointing at best. I didnt swipe a like for probably more than 90% and the ones I did and matched tended to either not message and let the timer run out or message me with a hello, how are you? Only to never respond when I replied back. Potential bots and unattractive girls lead me to give this app an 2. Im giving it a 2 because I like the idea around its principal, but unfortunately I guess my city attracts the moths to this app and not the butterflies.
Its an interesting concept but the app does have its flaws. Like what other people said you cant remove your school or work titles off of your profiles. A lack of privacy and almost made me uninstall the app. This needs to change.
Fail! I used to have this app but recently canceled my Facebook and now no longer can use this app, this is a huge fail on your part. Let us use it without Facebook
I used to have this app installed on my phone a few months ago. After uninstalling and now trying to install again, Im taken to a web Facebook login (even though Im signed in through the app) and after entering my user name and password, it just refreshes and asks again - super frustrating! Please fix so I can update my review, I used to like this app...
Great connections, meet great people, get to know people in your city! Bumble sets the bar for the best connections amongst any of the matchmaking apps out there.
Fun. It does cycle through people again
Ive matched with 4 people in the 2 days Ive had the app and only 2 started a conversation. Both were absolute pervs in the first 5 minutes. Bumble can pretend to be safer or better all they want, but they are no better than Tinder or Plenty Of Fish.
Better designed than tinder in terms of the interface, but it hasnt really been all that successful for me.
Have had bumble for over a month now, and not a single connection and Im not exactly an ugly guy. Not giving up yet though
I swipe right only with women I think I might get along with. About half the women I match with message me back. Of these Ive been on one date (been on the site a few weeks) and had a few nice conversations which ended up with deal-breakers (such a children). Overall a great concept, great app. It would be nice to be able to see a few major qualifiers such as has/wants/doesnt want children and serious religious beliefs.
If they didnt ask to write a review every time I open the app, probably would have given it a 5...
Ladies, dont bother with this app if your not going to msg first.
Take Tinders match-but-never-message problem and magnify it 10x. App concept should in theory limit straight men being creepy (at least right off the first message) but mostly leads to a lot of expired matches or having to respond to someone with a blank profile who opens with "hi". Also rate-limits users despite needing to catch up on population relative to other apps. No super-like functionality. Bumble BFF was just sad. Finally I suspect lots of fake profiles are mixed in to give people false hope.
Nice concept
Ive swiped through hundreds of girls, only 1 match. Got a ton on tinder so Im not the problem. Other than that great app
Its dope, just download it..
This app is hideously slow. Up to five minutes to load chats and profiles. Often dont get push notifications. I also have to swipe left on the same people over and over...and over. For an app that hails itself as the "feminist Tinder" it should understand that no means no.
Not to compare, but its very similar to Tinder (swipe left, swipe right based on profiles). Only theres a twist! Ladies must take initiative and send the first message within 24 hours of a compatible match. Kind of makes you stop and think about your choices. there also seems to be different users then Tinder which is good. Downside is, sometimes messages dont load. I eat it will say have zero new messages, and if I going to messaging centre the preview window shows my last message, but no reply. However if you click into the Conversation, a Message might actually be waiting… very annoying. Kind of a Buzz kill when it comes to keeping a conversation going (pun intended)
