Bumble: Dating & Friends App App Reviews

Theres a huge amount of men from Tinder pretty much trying to see how many women they can bag. While theres decent guys on here looking to actually date, there are a TON of douches. Which I guess is prone to happen on any dating app. Its pretty much a hit or a miss. That aside, I really love the BFF feature, its different and Ive made a lot of friends through it.

Seriously, download it.

Facebook verification fails every time on iphone5 running the latest version of iOS. Fields simply refresh to an empty state when user attempts to proceed after entering their credentials.

Great app, plenty of lovely looking people. Now if only I could get a match....

Ive used many other dating apps and met a number of people on them. So far bumble, despite having more attractive people on it, I have you to have a conversation with anyone.

Pros: · nice interface, especially scrolling up and down for pictures rather than right and left, which is for swiping · High quality matches (as of mid-2016 in San Francisco) · Puts some pressure on women to be involved Cons: · No way to set location (probably being reserved for paying users once they monetize) · No read receipts (ditto) · No way to choose what events trigger a notification, e.g. Messages vs new match vs expiring match · Annoying notifications

I get it. You dont want bots using your app. But what about those of us that decided to move on from time sucking social media? Dont get me wrong, I dont hate on the millions of people that use it. It just isnt for me. I left it 3 years ago and havent looked back. I devote a small amount of time to Instagram to combine my personal and business life. Im just super busy. I wish this app had a different way to sign in. Guess Ill rely on the old fashioned way and scope guys at my local coffee shop! ;)

Havent gotten any dates yet but the IX/UI is pretty intuitive

When I first downloaded Bumble, I thought it was going to be a way for me to meet lots of beautiful women. Not that I have trouble doing that without apps, but the idea of being able to do so while doing dishes was intriguing. Five months later, it doesn’t feel right. I’m a 28 year old bachelor, I’m 6’2 and a relatively good looking guy. But for some reason, I NEVER match with any attractive women. And there are a LOT on the app. My bio lists my athletic achievements (both from my fraternity days and current intramural leagues), as well as my criteria for what I want in a woman. The one I’m most proud of is IFC (Intra Fraternal Council) MVP for basketball & 16-inch softball. As for what I seek in a woman, all I ask is that she’s able to keep up with me athletically and that she’s into the finer things like sushi, craft beer, and good coffee. So please help. I’m assuming there’s a bug in the app that’s disallowing me from matching with the women I should be matching with, but if not, I’m at a loss. Thanks much,

Sometimes girls youve already swiped on come up again and sometimes girls out of your distance range, however otherwise a great app.

Well I was single. Then I found bumble. Now Im not single. Thanks Bumble.

I get plenty of matches and I message every single one of them cause Im nice like that and I have had zero replies. Zero. Makes it seem less than legit. Or Im just disgusting.

Its good. Isnt much different than tinder

Ever since I updated, my phone vibrates every time I swipe (Im swiping left, no chance of a match) and I apparently have over 3k unread notifications when I close out of the app. Annoying. Wont use until this is fixed in the next update cause its draining battery.

Far better than other apps and doesnt try to squeeze you for money.

You get one star for asking me EVERY DAY to rate this useless app. I rate it and yet Im still being asked, which is contrived and defeats the purpose. So, you know, give it a rest.

Super bogus app with lots of fake profiles. I wouldnt waste any time on this app. I gave it two weeks. Funny how I matched with plenty of men and sent messages and didnt even get one response back. Either theyre assholes who were looking for ego boosts or fake profiles. Ive encountered male friends on this app who claim to have never signed up... That says A LOT!

The type of guys in the app were better looking with better jobs but I found that they were less engaged and put in less effort in the conversation. The goal of the app is to empower woman not to make a one sided conversation where woman do all the work. I was stood up twice then the third match just wanted to hook up.. What does a girl gotta do to just get a simple coffee date..Pretty disappointed

Cant edit the middle of the text. Keeps moving the cursor back to the end.

The recent update got rid of some features that I would like to see back. Id like to see the features from the previous version restored - specifically in the conversations section.
